The Furries Are On to Something | Full Frontal on TBS – I appreciate the positive mainstream coverage that furries have been getting more of lately. Even when the discussion is around terrorist attacks and alt-right furries (check out the multi-part series done by the Worst Year Ever podcast from earlier this year), the conversation is about how the community overcomes the negative elements.
The Accidental Virtual Pandemic in World of Warcraft – Half as Interesting – I wasn’t aware of this WoW bug from an event, or how the CDC and multiple medical papers examined the outcome of this in-game pandemic to see how it models compared to real world virus spreads.
Dirty Machines: The End of History | Sci-Fi Short About Time Travel – This is a neat little film that is meant to be part of a larger series. I’d be interested in seeing more, as it looks well shot, tightly choreographed, and holds an interesting premise for time-travel paradox avoidance.
Contagion (Directed by Steven Soderbergh) – A Germaphobe’s Nightmare – Show Me the Meaning! LIVE! – We watched ‘Contagion’ the other night, after I’ve been suggesting it to my sister for years since we play the board game Pandemic regularly. Also timely!
