It’s been a fairly quiet week here for me. I don’t have a long rant to go on like last week 😂

I’m not sure that I ever linked it here, but I finally built a first draft of a plugin to convert MailPoet newsletters to WordPress blocks. The goal was to be able to drop all of the database tables that I was no longer using from my site, while getting my old newsletter archives to match the new style that I’ve been using for the past year and a half. If you happen to use MailPoet, I’d love some help to test this!

I’ve been taking a drawing class in person recently, and I’ve been enjoying the investment of time, energy, and money into myself. It’s forcing me to do something that I keep saying that I want to practice.

Now it’s time to take the dogs to the park. Our puppy has far too much energy and is driving our older dog crazy. She is adorable though!

I’ve always wanted Circles to catch on with some platform tbh. I guess the network effect of something active like Twitter could help. May as well find a safe space to share before the edit button comes for us all.

A longer than average video from Jacob Geller. I almost thought that the video wasn’t going to touch on games at all, but he mentioned a few that I’d like to check out. Plus, I got a little review on a variety of apps that I could conceivably try to fix my brain a bit.

The producer for this show said that the interviewee thanked them and Wired for being the only outlets bothering to talk to them directly when discussing the group and how they function. It’s almost like doing journalism or something 😅

There’s a few videos like this on the channel. I like how the trippy aesthetic of the AI generated images looks for the sci-fi themes of the tracks chosen.
