2013 – What a Year

It’s been six months since my last post, letting you know about my need to de-stress from time to time. I of course want to post more often, but who doesn’t? I’m not going to make a promise to do so more often, since I just need to get on here and do it if I want it.

How’s this for multitasking: I’m typing this post out on my phone while walking off a jog this morning. That’s not a humblebrag right? I’m not visiting the family to eat all of the food ever until later, so I’m proactively guarding against the delicious carbs that are about to enter my body. I’ve had a lot of changes over the past year and have plenty more that I’m working on. While many are professional and require a retooling of my current business processes, some just involve being more at peace with the world and the general self improvement that I’m always promising myself.

I’m calling 2014 the year of authenticity. As those close to me can attest, I’ve been learning to speak my mind more which has been… interesting, to say the least. I have a lot to do and a lot to give back that I have taken. I’m going to enumerate a few changes next week that are included with this, but rest assured that my focus is still in doing good things that benefit others. It’s the thing that makes me happy and it’s what I want to share. Merry Christmas and I look forward to connecting with all of you before and into the new year!
